last friday, kuni was so nice to come down to vic house to surprise us! because regina and i were done with exams, we went out duly to celebrate with fabulous japanese food!

We also discovered two things when we visited the star at Silverstream.

1. He is a man who's careful with his wines. While the rest of the club is yakking aimlessly away (check out girl at the back), he checks and reads the labels with precision and serves them suitably with decorum. This is a man who knows what he wants. ooh.


2. Not only are human beings like us attracted to him, so are MICE. ok, maybe thats not exactly something to be whoopy about, but hey! it definitely shows within him the deep animal instincts and attraction. hungry tiger. rawrrrr.


i'm sure we will all have more charming accounts of our beloved kuni when we come back from christchurch. a week with him...ahh, bliss.

Silver Stream 18/06-2005

this is our idol and fan-girl no. 1 in Silver stream! With KUNI! Our president is hidden behind the man himself. Now we have had a tour of his house, and we even had a great meal there!!! (see previous posts)

Can't wait for our next outing!!

After my last meeting with our dear idol a day before I had my Statistics exam (I asked him to burn my book for me but he wouldn't...*sulk*), it's been almost a week since I've seen Kunihiro. *sigh* Can't wait to hear his sarcastic 'hai hai' again... See you on Friday or Saturday, my wonderful idol!

Kunihiro remains a star in our hearts because

1. He is a fearless explorer.





2. He is consistently humble (aka expressionless) even in the midst of fan worship and paparazzi shots.




3. He tries to please his fans even though he doesnt know what's going on.




4. He's not afraid to display his fallibility.






5. He occasionally relents and smiles for us !!!

My fabulous day with Kuni the great!

I can't believe how lucky I was yesterday... was playing away on the piano while waiting for our dear prez, and the great Kunihiro just turned up out of no where!! Screamed like a groupie (err... I AM a groupie, but ah well...;p) in surprise. It's not everyday that a star turns up at your hostel is it?? Was sooooo excited when he agreed to come for a beer with us!!

It was a great afternoon. Bit cold, but the sight of our star just fills me up with warm excitement! I just found out that he likes Stella Artois! AHHHHH!!! Such good taste! Oh yeah as the adidas spokesman, Kunihiro also bought a black adidas jacket, which he looked really good in!

Meeting Kunihiro totally made my day. Can't wait to go to Schorching Bay with him on Monday! You go Kuni! Our favourite Japanese guy.

yesterday, i was rushing about the room, gathering my stuff, ready to head down to meet the rest when i heard knocking on my door. hurriedly, i walked over and alas! who was it but KUNIHIRO OTE himself! i was tremendously (but pleasantly) surprised at this unexpected visit and his rousing shout to "lets go for beer!" made me smile. haha. how often do you get this man? the nicest japanese guy coming up to your door to personally escort you down. ok so i was late and it doesnt really count BUT still!

Great times, people. We feel very lucky that he has such a healthy relationship with his fanclub. And he really acts as though he is one of us, he is the most down-to-earht star you could imagine. *sigh* He just has such great character.

We simply cannot wait until the next time he'll be in town! Right now we do not have his schedule, so we only get this information right before he makes an appearance. We'll let you all know when this happens!
